Yokohama

Hi everyone, last week I had the opportunity to do a week long DTS training in Yokohama. Our base is running a DTS, or Discipleship Training School, this upcoming September. To prepare for that, and some of the other DTS’s happening in Japan, YWAM Japan hosted a DTS training week to get newer staff ready to help staff schools from everything to leading one on ones to leading the outreach phase.
It was such a good week filled with worship, prayer, good food, catching up with old friends, meeting new people, and 4-5 lectures a day. One person in particular that was cool to see was one of my DTS outreach leaders from when I was doing my DTS in Singapore who I haven’t seen since then. We got to hear from speakers from all across Japan but also from other countries in Asia. It was so good hearing from people with so much of their life spent in YWAM and also to get a clearer idea of what staffing a DTS will really look like.
