“Speak, for your servant is listening” (1 Samuel 3:10, NIV). Missionary work begins with a heart tuned to God’s voice. Like Samuel, I strive to listen, ready to obey wherever He leads. Missions isn’t about grand plans but daily surrender, trusting God to use me. The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) calls us to make disciples, but it starts with being present, showing Christ’s love through kindness and patience. In a world hungry for hope, every moment is a chance to reflect Jesus.
The Holy Spirit empowers us to be witnesses (Acts 1:8), even when words fail. Sharing the Gospel often means living it—serving humbly, loving deeply, and staying faithful despite challenges. Some days, I feel inadequate, but God’s strength carries me. Missions requires courage to step into the unknown, believing that each act of obedience plants seeds for His kingdom. It’s humbling to know our small efforts can echo eternally (Romans 10:15). I pray for ears to hear God’s call clearly and a heart bold enough to follow, no matter the cost. May we all listen and respond, carrying His love to those who need it most.
